Wobble board questions answered before you buy
Is a wooden wobble board suitable for beginners?
Start with the roller on levels 1 to 4, with the stops positioned close together to make the exercise easier. The instructions recommend beginning on a soft, level surface such as grass or a mat, and using a wall for support if needed.
Is switching from the roller to the balance ball difficult?
The ball is intended for advanced to expert levels and is used on levels 5 and 6. The roller is always easier than the ball, so progress with the roller first before moving on to the ball.
What is the maximum weight limit for this balance trainer?
The maximum load stated for this product is 160 kg. Respect this cautious limit every time you use it.
How much space do I need for an adult balance board?
Also prepare a clear area of at least 3 metres around furniture, animals and children to help prevent collisions.
Do the magnetic stops stay in place during exercise?
The 2 roller stops and 2 ball stops can be repositioned in the pre-drilled holes beneath the board. They are grooved for finger grip; insert and remove them gently to avoid damaging them.
Can I use this exercise wobble board on a hard floor?
Beginners should practise on a soft, level surface such as grass or a mat, not on a hard floor. Wear suitable shoes and protective equipment, including a helmet and knee and elbow protection.
Does the coloured surface provide enough grip?
The coloured surface has a non-slip texture designed to improve grip. Wear suitable shoes, start at the level that matches your experience and inspect the board before every use.
Is this balance board suitable for children or therapeutic use?
It is for adults only, is not intended as a toy and is not designed for therapeutic use. The instructions recommend consulting a doctor or sports coach before use.
