How to Set Up Your Sewing Machine with Foot Pedal
- Connect only the supplied mains adapter and foot pedal to the sockets on the back of the machine.
- Point the short rod outward at approximately 60°, then install the spool pin, thread spool and its cover.
- Pass the thread through the tension discs, take-up lever and thread guide, then thread the needle from front to back.
- To install a bobbin, leave 5 to 10 cm of thread exposed, bring the thread up with the handwheel, then place both threads under the presser foot.
- Before replacing the needle, switch off and unplug the machine, insert the new needle fully with its flat side facing the bar, then tighten the screw.

- Choose the needle according to the fabric weight: size 9, 11, 14 or 16.
