Stability Ball Chair – Dark Grey

The stability ball chair in detail

This stability ball chair turns a work break into active sitting: the inner PVC ball creates purposeful instability that engages your balance, while the textile cover provides more comfortable contact than a bare ball.

The non-slip silicone base helps limit sliding when the floor is clean and the base is making proper contact with the surface. The anti-tip system works only when the seat is unoccupied, helping prevent the ball from rolling when it is not in use.

Use it as a yoga ball for gentle stretches, core work, abdominal exercises or stability training according to your physical condition. During pregnancy, or if you experience dizziness, circulatory problems or physical limitations, seek appropriate advice before use.

How to set up your ball chair

  1. Take out all the parts, fully unfold the cover and the PVC ball, then let them relax for 30 minutes.
  2. Open the zipper under the cover and roll up the PVC ball with the air hole at one end.
  3. Insert the side without the air hole into the cover first, then place the end with the hole toward the opening.
  4. Insert the manual pump nozzle with a push-and-turn motion and begin inflating.
  5. When the ball starts to take shape, center the air hole and the pump between the two sides of the zipper.
  6. Continue until the ball fills the cover without large wrinkles, remove the pump, immediately cover the hole with one finger, then insert the valve plug.
  7. Press lightly on the inner ball if necessary to close the zipper.

What to check before buying a ball seat for work

  • Check that the maximum load of 150 kg suits your intended use.
  • Choose this product if you are looking for occasional active sitting, not a completely stable fixed chair.
  • Use it on a clean floor with an intact silicone base to help limit sliding.
  • Avoid use if you experience dizziness, circulatory problems, physical limitations or any uncertainty about your condition.
  • Keep sharp objects away from the inner PVC ball.
  • Allow time for assembly: the cover and ball must relax for 30 minutes before inflation.

How to care for your yoga ball cover

  • For light soiling, use a lint roller or a damp cloth.
  • Before washing, remove the inner PVC ball and close the zipper and Velcro.
  • Wash the cover alone if possible, or place it in a laundry bag.
  • Use a gentle cycle or hand wash at a low temperature with mild detergent.
  • Spin at low to medium speed only.
  • Allow to air-dry completely, away from direct heat.
  • Do not use harsh cleaning agents or fabric softener.

Frequently asked questions about an office ball seat

Can this stability ball chair really support an adult?

The stated maximum user load is 150 kg. Do not use the seat if it is damaged or visibly losing air.

Does the ball stay stable when you sit on it?

It is intentionally unstable during active sitting. The anti-tip device only prevents tipping or rolling when there is no user on the ball.

Can the ball slide on a smooth floor?

The silicone base helps limit sliding, but the ball may move if the base is dirty, damaged or no longer making proper contact with the floor.

How do you inflate this ball chair correctly?

Unfold the cover and PVC ball, leave them to relax for 30 minutes, place the ball inside the cover, then inflate it with the hand pump until the fabric is taut without large creases.

Do I need to buy a pump separately?

No.

Is the ball seat cover washable?

First remove the inner PVC ball, close the zip and Velcro, then wash the cover by hand or in a machine on a gentle cycle at low temperature.

Can you wash the inner PVC ball?

The inner ball must be removed before washing because it is not washable.

Is this pregnancy ball suitable for exercise ball and pregnancy use?

Use during pregnancy should be cautious and adapted to your physical condition. The instructions recommend particular care during pregnancy and in cases of dizziness, circulatory problems or physical limitations.

How can I avoid damaging the ball seat during everyday use?

Keep sharp objects, such as keys in a pocket, away from the ball. Also avoid major temperature changes and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Can the dark grey fabric mark a light-coloured rug?

The instructions note that dark fabric may rarely leave a mark on a light-coloured rug through friction.
